I am a hands-on renovation contractor with an architectural technology background, and I have a lot of experience in the Ottawa renovation and construction industry. That experience allows me to offer a wide range of services to my customers, ranging from small home repairs to larger renovations. 

Most of my work is residential work in houses, townhouses, and apartment buildings, but I also occasionally do work on commercial properties. Most of my work is indoor work and interior finish work, but I also do some exterior work during warmer months on a case-by-case basis. I do my own work, or I supervise the trades that I work with, so you never have to worry about me subbing out the entire job to someone else.

Most of my renovation and repair services fall into the category of renovations, but I do a lot of small home repair and handyman type work too. Most of the work that I do is projects that take from one full business day to 15 business days. Only about 10% of my jobs are small tasks under one day of labour. So, I will do small jobs, but I do them on a case-by-case basis and I mainly use them as filler between larger jobs.   

As a contractor who works alone or in a small two-person team, I can’t take on extremely large jobs, but occasionally I will take on larger jobs on a case-by-case basis, with the assistance of other trades and subcontractors. 

While my original background was in architectural technology and I used to have my BCIN, I don’t practice anymore as an architectural technologist. So, while I often give customers design advice and renovation advice on projects, I do not offer full design or drafting services. I am not a design & build company either, and I don’t have a design center or showroom. I work mainly with customers who already have designs in place or on small to medium sized projects that don’t require much design work. So, if you require extensive designs, plans or permit work, I am not your guy. Please contact an architect, interior designer, architectural technologist, or a design-build firm instead.     

Emergency Services: I do not offer emergency repair services, but sometimes I have openings in my schedule to accommodate urgent home repairs. Also, I have extensive knowledge in plumbing and electrical, and I can diagnose a lot of problems, but I don’t offer emergency plumbing or electrical services. Please call an electrician or plumber instead. I would be happy to look at any plumbing or electrical problems as part of larger repair or renovation project, but please do not contact me for one-item individual plumbing or electrical problems.
